In the Gallery with the spiders to the far right are rows of barrels. There is a chest just beyond.
I must have to go thru but I cannot figure out what to do.

I am sure it is someting simple.......

You have to get to it through the cave entrance. There is a ladder on the left side of the water.

how do i get this to open up at this point, or do I have to wait til to end as per #23 of the walktrhru? ?



"23. Find the Gripphin
Jezabel's gripphin is in Gripphin Cave on Crystal Crown, very near the end of the game."

As soon as Jezebel is part of your party the entrance to the cave will open and you can go down the ladder then.

Why can I not get the mayor to teach me the new spell with the umbrella? I HAVE kill all the spiders in the Gallery, excluding anything to the right of the barrels !!!! Is this also near the end of the game?

You need to keep checking boxes and walls etc until you get a Quest Complete. Some of the spiders are hidden.

I have searched every square inch the the Gallery and there an no spiders.....................

Does the quest still show in your quest book if you press A?

Kill Gigatine is the only spider related quest showing for Shumen Village

Are you in the basement of the warehouse or the basement of the inn?

I am in the basement below the Mayor.

Benoit, Aby, and Dee are with me.

Have you gone back up and talked to the Mayor?

If so and he doesn't teach you, you are still missing spiders. Touch every wall, every box, every rock, everything until you get a Quest Complete.

If this is Quest #22 it doesn't even show up once the Mayor opens the stairwell up.

Some of the quests don't show up until they are complete. There are one or two that you have to hear the Quest Complete for them to be done. This is one of them.
