I just discovered that Gametap does have save files for Phantasy Star IV (which you mentioned was part of the inspiration for Legend) so I will be giving this game a go. I like the idea of a science fiction RPG, this hasn't been done for a while (not with RPG Maker anyway).

since it's a funny plot
most likely either main char is an idiot, or he wants to dominate over the planets

you need to make a monkey, hot-spring scene

the hero is neither an idiot nor does he want to dominate the world, but he is kinda full of himself (which you could classify as being an idiot but it's hardly equivalent ^^)

in legend you play the son of the king +::biggrin

it's about the son of the previous Overlord (Demon King), and his quest in getting the residents of the netherworld to fear him and recognize him has King. Although he ended up being kind hearted due to certain events.
He is arrogant, he calls his allies minons. To pass his laws he beats up the dark counsel.
He had space people from earth attack him and try to kill. Overall it was funny and heartwarming
