Most epic boss fight in an Aldorlea Game

I'm putting it here because MM2 is the hot game right now.

Which was, well, the most epic?

Marine vs the Djinn?
Marine vs the Elder Gripphin?
Glen vs Thanatos?
or the 3 Stars vs Ozur?

Explain why, too! :) +::wizard

Glen vs Thanatos?

Because we technically fought the battle with only 3 people.

That is also the case with the 3S fight. :)

Yes but that was Random and Sarah, and Lucy. They count as 6 all by themselves.

Ahaha good one

But that says much about your esteem of Glen-Grom-Luby XD

I started playing the Laxius Series years and years ago. I must have played Laxius Power 1 about 6 or 7 times waiting for 2 to come out. 2 was sort of disappointing. But 3 was awesome. No heroes will ever live up to Random and Sarah and Lucy.

Nope. Not yet. Maybe by the 5th installment. I like Marine and Jeanne but Benoit is still a wimp. He's going to have to do some serious growing up before I will buy him as one of the 13. He just doesn't fit. He can fight but his attitude sucks.

What is so terribly wrong in his attitude, in particular compared to say, Hirado? Or Jezabel?

It just seems that he wants to avoid conflicts. He keeps trying to discourage Marine. Just my take on it. I could be reading him wrong. But he just rubs me the wrong way.

I don't care much for Hiraldo either. Benoit is a stronger fighter than he is.

Actually Benoit is stronger than Jezebel too.

I don't really know why.

For me, it was Ozur by a wide margin.

Of course, it depends a lot on how well you played the game before, because when i played 3SoD for the second time and had the Blessed Touch aura for completing the Peak of Heroes (it makes you immune to all status change effect such as stun or silence), the fight was trivial.
But when I met him for the first time, I needed to tune my equipp a lot to be immune to most of the effect his spells and attacks had, and even than I barely managed to beat him, using tons of party healing and reviving items, struggling to stay alive at all and slowly damaging him. The feeling when he finally died was just awesome.

I should also say that Elder Gripphin fight in MM2 was pretty good, too.

Little OT: Ozur was epic because it was hard, but boss may also feel epic when there's lots of story behind him, thus I expect a lot from final parts of Millennium and of course from LFIII.

And last thing - probably the most epic fight from all games i have ever played was the True demon from LP3 - watching him to destroy the whole Metrolia and then confronting all his forms and seeing how incredibly powerful he was, that was really something unique.

You don't really know why what?

Anyway in the very last sequence of MM2, Benoit *should* give you hope, no? +::sos

welcome in the club, man ^^
(yes i did play my own game lol)

but more awesome is to kill him using random's countering ability - now THAT is a total blast +::wizard

It was unique because it followed exactly the story in the novel. ;)
Which should be also the case of the final confrontation in LF3 btw

That's exactly what I did when playing for the second time. :) (Of course reviving him a few times with Luciana's Rise mortals spell.)

Well in normal mode I was able to kill Ozur with Random - and I mean, Random WINS the duel. +::wizard +::whistle
