Ok, to answer the topic: Marine should be quite ok with her ability to regen HP each round, also Karine is strong, as for the others, I would say that Benoit could be in real troubles right now, he seems to be the weakest without proper equipp to me.

Red Orb is a spell
there is no automatic way to separate a spell from a skill but I will do it anyway ^^
if you want to try and guess, think what sounds like magic, and what sounds like a body attack, only more evolved (like side kick is, for instance)

Abu has not begun to train yet, hence why he was only using weapons in MM2
Hirado had his hands available as a weapon from the start.
