DOORS THAT WON'T OPEN !

I have now 4 keys (El Cairo, Pharaoh, Royal and Sanatorium), however there are many doors that won't open - ie: in London and also in El Cairo. When I go to these doors, boots show up so I assume that somehow they can be entered. Also in the Cheese Cave there is a gate that won't open regardless of what I equip. I'm getting so frustrated and need some help. Thanks

The London and El Cairo "normal" doors cannot be opened. ^^
However the prison-type doors can always (or almost always, dont remember exactly) be opened, but sometimes you cannot do it until later in the game.
