This is playing nightmare from scratch. And finishing without touching Pinkie for the full reward.

Well, I guess if I beat Nightmare, then that should be doable too. Of course the Health Catalyst is incredibly helpful cause I heal 25HP after each battle instead of just 5. But with that I still don't need a whole lot of restoratives. Playing without that reward would mean more running back and forth for food. And of course playing with the original party, but that wouldn't make much difference. The original party is not better or worse than using any of the unlocked characters.
I'm now playing with Erin, Saehral, Peeboo and MEGAPIUUUUUUUU. But I'm missing Athena and Clochette is quite cool too.

@Tomas - I personally would never do that. I know, I'm a coward. But then the game would certainly not be enjoyable for me.

True Nightmare would have to be with the default party and no bonus.

But would playing it like that give me any more bonuses or reveal any new secrets?

@Cassiopeia - tbh, I started the Pure Nightmare because I play all Indi's games on Nightmare and I was too stubborn to give up. But it was really hard, way harder than any other game I've played so far.

@ Tomas - well, as I said, I'm not part of the exclusive club of hard mode players. I'm not keen of torturing myself (although that's what I'm doing right now, lol).

@ Indy - who else if not you? If not even the dev can beat it, then there's something wrong!
