well in hard mode i usually use all the permies right away Oo
sometimes putting everything on one chara to make them uber-powerful is quit effective too.

Yes, who to give the items to is not always easy to decide. Like giving SP items to the slow guy to make him a little faster? Or rather give it to someone who's already quite fast to make him more likely to always hit first?

to the slow one, in general, imo

Usually I'd think so too. But sometimes the slow one is a hopeless case and even if I gave him 50 speedies, he'd still be too slow. Especially on Nightmare Mode, when their stats are only 70%. That might be hard to compensate.
But I'll figure that out and see who'll be the best receiver for the boosts.
