Stuck in woods with 3 guards

I have completed the trail and have been sent by random father to rilla to train. we then walked through a woods into screen that has 3 guards. They keep chasing me and I keep killing them but they just come back. I jumped down the log and across all the woods only now I cann't find a way out. Can anyone help?

once you've jumped, make sure to save immediately.
in the woods you need to find a small hut (that is located about to the middle right) and inside find tools to fix Sarah's leg.

I cann't find the hut. I don't have anything wrong with Sarah's leg? Have I missed something?

You must still have to jump down a log - there is one that hangs over and you walk down it then the characters jump down to get away.

EDIT - sorry I managed to miss that you had already jumped down the log - need new eyes lol

Yes - first jump from the log over the void, then find the most further down spot to the waterfall and press ENTER, you will jump down the waterfall.
