Lost item during import

Lost item during import

I was playing initial game, then realized new updated game dated Nov 11. After downloading newest version, began from the beginning, now have lost some transfer items, most importantly bastard sword. Anyone know why? Thanks

Did you select 'IMPORT' from the main menu and selected your save???
