Hi, I was wanting to know if I can change the mode from hard to normal or Easy?
I imported & just thought it would be the same as MM4 finish - Easy.
After getting to the finale & losing 4 times +::grrr

I checked and saw I was in hard mode - something I never do as I enjoy playing for the story & easy action not frustration!
It's spoilt the experience some what +::Annoyed

I like it to be +::YAY

& I want to see the happy ending. Help please +::sos

Well... you choose in the beginning of the game which mode you like to play. You can't change in the middle of the game, even if you imported... you would still be able to choose modes in the beginning.

Hi D-Squall, thanks for replying. I thought I was in easy mode & earlier save files confirm this too, but I've noticed that the characters all have different modes in their Status fields at the finale. Marine is hard mode although Jack is normal mode, so I'm a bit confused as to whats going on +:::|

Yes, it has been noticed before. I myself was playing normal, then after the Pit of Infinity it showed hard mode, but at the showdown it was normal again.

It seems to change all the time. The last time I looked at the status it's Normal in the showdown but I was playing Easy so what do I do. I don't want a continuous crappy ending. I've done it 4 times already & I feel that's enough. +::cry

It is quite possible in Normal Mode too.If you want, I can save you a saveYou have to win 5 times to get the 85 wins ending and you don't have to even win once to get the real ending.

but unfortunately my computer won't or can't open it +::cry

So maybe I'll have to start over and try and level everyone up more or something. +::surrender

You don't open your save, you copy it here:

Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\[your name]\Application Data\MM5_Saves

Windows Vista/Windows 7:
C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\MM5_Saves
