That's because the writing and stories in Aveyond and my games are also very different.
Amanda writes princess stuff and I'm much darker, especially in stuff like LF (exactly).

It may vary, while I prefer your style there is some games of yours that are very light in the Aveyond level, Dreamscape for example. I like Dreamscape, but I prefer, as you said, darker stories like Laxius Force and The Bookf of Legends.

Yes LF and TBOL are very much my style, but in my collection of written works there is stuff you've never seen that's even more my style lol the bottom line is that it's logical that Amanda and I attract different kind of people, our works are not similar at all.

I must admitt I loved the original's LP "incorrectness".
And yes, I was an adolescent boy back then.

But it was definitively something that made the characters and story more colourful. What a pity Indi had to change this a bit after going commercial... +::cry

I too would love to see a remake of the earlier Laxius Power games as I have never played them due to how rather amateu-ish they are. You should polish them up and sell them for 10 bucks a pop!
20 bucks a pop for the 18+ version. +:oops:

Decided to lurk a bit just to see how people discuss the contradictions between 3SoD and the first trilogy as well as asking for a remake of the said LP trilogy. I cant even describe how much I'm cringing right now, as many, many thoughts are flooding my mind, unable to even piece them together in one rational post +::sos

Things as "3SoD is close following 4SoD - THE BOOK, much more than LP, which is mix between this and the other books with expansion of them", "3SoD has little to no connection to LP1 in terms of same world, more like it is from parallel one", "remake would be glorious, but will remain a dream".

Damn, what a way from me to rise from the dead and post, lol.
And, as for the remaking, I think I can understand him - its not all because of the huge load of work it will be. Its hard for an author to revisit his old works, especially the ones he started with in general. But, we can at least dream for a miracle. At least quite the time passed, much more advanced programs are out. And, speaking about dreaming - I talked with a friend not long ago what would be if the first trilogy was remade with a game engine like unity, or something, which is different from the rpg maker, placing the 3 games all in one huge game but separated in 3 chapters for the sake of following the way of the first trilogy. Crazy on so many levels.

Btw, few weeks ago I wrote an article-review of the first trilogy for a famous local gaming site, I wonder about translating it, since I believe few people got interested by the games from the review. +::Dunno
