it has voiced dialogue ? That's new .... I might buy the game just for that alone.

Lagging, too

Postby kimo » Mon Apr 03, 2017 8:37 pm

It did not seem to be an issue in the caves, but it is lagging in the town. I think I am suffering from an average CPU speed or my laptop needs Viagra since this is similar to a previous new release that lagged a lot. The developer did a decent job fixing lag problems with that one. Is this going to be an issue for new releases with the new RPGmaker engine? What engine was used for this?

Also, the developer needs to allow for footstep adjustment for the invisible monsters, or just increase the steps between invisible encounters. Seems short to me when I am trying to explore.

I'm really trying to like this game, but something is missing for me.

I find the lack of a menu save option frustrating. I am trying to get Melanie and ??? out of the prison / academy and found myself stuck. I am frozen inside a wall and can't move up/down/left/right. Now I have to restart from all the way back to my starting cell.

Completely agree, Lady JJ! I think we were spoiled by The Deal. Regenerating bad guys is not my cup of tea!

I am stuck in the same place Lady JJ. Seems it is a game glitch. Very frustrating that the game developers don't respond
to our posts. The location is after exiting the jail, you go west. You get the warning about going north to disperse the guards. The gllitch happens when you enter the building to the north. No way out of it and I REALLY don't want to do the whole jail cell thing again.

There are 3 side-by-side silver doors there. I reloaded from my cell and made my way through to there again, this time taking the rightmost of the 3 doors and was able to continue in the game. Just don't take the middle door. Not sure what the leftmost door would do, as without a save option, I'm not keen on investigating further.

I totally agree, txpeach, that the lack of a response from the developer is very disheartening. I'd like to know what triggers the end of the demo. I have caught up with 016 again, defeated 015, seen a cutscene with a new commander being appointed, and then the game goes to black. Is this the end of the demo? If so, shouldn't there be some type of notice to say that? I'm hesitant to buy the game only to find that the paid version will lock up on me at the same place.

On a positive note, I am not experiencing any lag whatsoever.

And I would add
Spoiler: show
Take out the green (wind) first because its dizzying effect can make your fighters lose their turn.

Hi there! Thanks for the feedback, all.

We sincerely apologize for the issues players are having with some of the lag encountered in Chapter 1-2 Availia sequence in the free demo. We're currently working on adjustments to those effects, and plan on reducing the amount of soldiers in the town area for a smoother gameplay experience. There are plans to release an updated version of the demo on all of our platforms with all of the fixes to our retail version this upcoming weekend.

We will also be adding minimum specifications to be able to play Selatria are clearly visible on the site. Due to the nature of more complex puzzles, there is a need to show more elements/features in our maps compared to similar games on these portals, which use up more processing power in later chapters.

The minimum specifications for this game are as follows:

System Requirements:

Operating System: Microsoft® Windows® 7 / 8 / 10
CPU: PC with at least a Dual-Core or higher processor.
RAM: At least 2GB of system RAM
HDD: 4GB available hard disk space
1024×768 or better video resolution

Thank you for your support! And thanks for playing Selatria!
