Slay a God quest and

Is this particular quest completable in LF II? I'm thinking that if so it has to be done before talking to the oracle-unless it can be done after. Anyone gotten this far, and if so, any hints? :D

And side note, is there a point to Alex's second dream? I know there is to the first, but I keep dying in the second because Alex's level is so bloody low and that darn Medusa keeps offing me. And if it's not the Medusa, it's the demons.. X_X

Edit: Figured it out thanks to checking the other board. sorta kinda figured the dream bit out, though I still don't see the point of it all. o_o
