I bought this ring from the temple, but the description is confusing

It says

"Inf Shrinkage [holder), nano veut dire homme et sana femme."

So what does it do? I can't read the french part.

The French part means :

nano means man and sana means woman

It was probably not supposed to be there - most likely, Indinera just forgot to remove it.

It's been too long since I played LF2 and I don't remember much about that ring, sorry. Maybe someone else will be able to help.

In all likelihood, he simply forgot to remove that text before releasing the game. The error was probably not even brought to his attention, or at least not in time to get it fixed in the v. 1.6 release.

I can't get a straight translation, but it seems to just be a note to remind him that the ring was for females only, and not for male party members. As this appears to be the case when you check to see who can equip it.
