Couple of quirks...Lost use of TP right before fishing village but it was ok after passing North exit and re-entering. Have to meet pirates to get weapons and such but can't exit south exit and the North Wyvern (?) up North. Tried going back to fishing village to take boat and went to Deadman's Island (already fought and won against Kraken) but he was there again. Had problems exiting out of cave but tried a few more times and got out. So, thought I'd let you know about quirks. +::biggrin Isn't it the south exit to meet the pirates? Thanks in advance. Great story by the way.

Hi, ZuluKat!

I am happy to know you are enjoying the story! Thanks for the compliment.
Thank you for the feedback as well. I will look into the Deadman's Isle thing, I think it is a just a matter of not removing a graphic file when it should be removed.

As for the bootleggers, you will meet them by exiting Fellowbend VIllage through the northeast exit. Let me know if you can find and if you can't, I'll help you some more.

I'm have the same problem with finding the Pirates to get the bootlegged weapons. When I exit the fishing village I end up back at Gathrin's cabin. We need a fix.

Nevermind. I was looking in the wrong village. My bad.

I am in the Shadowed Cove trying to get the weapons. I cannot cross either bridge or enter the cave and the enemy cannot cross the bridges to come to me.

ZuluKat
after the Kraken, talk to the mayor, he will remove the guards on the east exit, and you are on your way.

Hum.... I'm in Shadowed Cove and I can't go anywhere. Ramp up, cave opening and bridge to the right are all impassible. Am I missing something?

Hi Crow

I am a bit stuck - I've finished off the Kraken, got the warden on board, and now unable to progress. I've gone back to Fellowbend Village and tried to go North - beast won't play. Tried to go North East - Rowan says we have no business that way. I must be missing a step...?

MerryX

Never mind - found it!!
Spoiler: show
Had to go all round the village and talk with everyone and find Varian

Just finished the game. I liked the story line, but I'm disappointed in the price vs. playing time. I think this short game should have been priced around $9.99. And there are many areas that you can walk on that shouldn't be walked on - crates, rocks, cliffs, barrels, etc.

Just my honest opinion. It will be interesting to see what others think.

Hi Crow,

I have just finished the game - took about 6 hours and leveled up to Level 24 for all characters. I was a bit surprised it was so short - having played and enjoyed your other games (Maiden, Knightess, and Warden) - and overall I felt this one was not up to your usual high standards :( It felt a bit unfinished - as though there should have been more? There was equipment I couldn't equip clearly for another sort of character (Ancient Cane, Golem Bane, Dweller's Robe).

I think the story was the main focus for this game of how human mistakes are made and their consequences - tragic all the way round. The boss battles were quite tough although I did manage to beat Loth in the Everbloom ruins when I had Maya in the team
Spoiler: show
who then sadly died +::cry I realised I "shouldn't" have won when it just cycled back to the beginning of the fight. I hit him with a combination of Spell Reversal and Hypnotic Slumber which worked to allow the others to take him out

I did not like the background music - really started to grate on me to the point I had to mute it entirely. This is just a personal preference as I detest what I call "tech" music. And the graphics seemed different from your other games - not as beautiful - and the game controls felt clunky (I use a mouse and often found it would not direct the characters properly and I'd need to use the keyboard).

Overall, I'm sorry but I found the game disappointing.

I'm glad you liked the storyline. I'm sorry you felt the game was short, I did try to focus on the storyline and experience. I will take your feedback under consideration though, and for my next games I'll keep the importance of lenght in mind.

I'm with you regarding the music style, it is not my personal taste either, but I wanted to try something different. The same goes about the graphics, I decided to use different visuals than I had used in my previous game to make this one a bit more distinct and give it a fresher look.

Thank you very much for giving the game a go. I'll take your feedback to heart for my next game.
