LF II final patch (or LF II v1.7)

Is the final version of LF II, which would fix the Tower Guild bug and the other minor bugs and oddities (the unconvincible Garko guy in the Snake Rock prison and so), designed to be released prior to LF III or after the release of LF III?

The point is, whether it's worth the effort to play through Chapter 8 to make a near perfect savefile for LF III on v1.6, or whether it would be better to wait for v1.7 (if it's planned to be released before LF III).

You'd need to wait for staff confirmation of some kind for a more specific date, but it's supposed to be coming out soon.

'Soon' is a very non-specific word though. :razz:

Hopefully Garko won't be an issue, and as long as you held off with Coryool on the towers, it's really just a couple minor bugs in Chapter 8 to replay past. I'm hoping it will more or less boil down to having to redo the second dream at the very end of LF2, and possibly going back just before that to deal with the 'Jaw' situation at the forge. I don't think the Sariss issue is worth going back for, but possibly that too. Nothing else of much import springs to mind.

I don't know if this is the place for this or not but when you upgrade LFII again, Broff does not regain MP when sleeping at an Inn even if he is part of the main party.

all of this is fixed and the "new" lf2 should be released very soon (tomorrow i hope). +::Thumbup

The final LF II is out! Just download the installation file from this site and overwrite the old installment of LF II.

If it comes to the Garko guy, now, 64 persuasion points are enough to persuade him (but maybe even 63 or 62 would do the job as well, I don't know).

Provide a complete list of fixes in 1.7... And is there any major fix any which will change the game +::sos . I dont want to start all over again when LF3 is just 2 days away..... +::clap +::clap

Yeah, Indy had stated on the other forum that Broff doesn't restore MP at the inn. He's just weird that way. I'd point you to the exact post, but I've been having intermittent issues with that site being unavailable, and can't pull it up right now.

If you're really curious, I believe Indy's post was in the 'bug reporting' thread on the LF2 board. It's maybe a page or two back from the most recent posts in the topic.

I don't think that Garko serves any purpose in LF2. He probably goes to the laxius manor like the others you recruit though, and he may serve some purpose in LF3.

Someone that's played LF3 would really need to answer this one.
