It was luck. 
I used Box of Bugs, he was Venomed. I just defended and let the Venom kill him. But I had luck because Marine avoided a lot his attacks.

Didn't see the Trinite in the Dragon's castle. Obviously can't get back in. I assume I'm out of luck?
