Chapters?

I keep seeing people post things happening on certain chapters... how do you know which chapter you're in?

When you start the game a picture appears after a cutscene. It says Xander And 6th Temple. That's 9th chapter. And until you see a picture saying Our Dear Wendala you're in chapter 9. In Chapter 10 it is chp. 10 until you see a picture named The Grand Commendanter Attacks. And it goes on...
