Disappearing Characters? possible spoiler

I worked through the fortress battle with Coryool, Wendie, Xander and Claria and joined with everyone else back at the camp. Went through finding the old friends and the Perrick's place, even received the prompt to sleep.

After the attack on the camp, the split I made with my team was working great for Rilla. However...

Spoiler: show
When I got to Adretana I realized I had not armed Joshua and Herbert...what a potential disaster! I went back to an earlier save in the fortress w Coryool and team and have worked my way back to the split up again...however now when Claria is selecting a team half of my characters are missing! +::O_o

I am not sure what happened and haven't "found" them yet...among the missing are Tarabula, Rosa, Herasia, Guanida, Nash...) +::cry

Any advice or has this happened to anyone else?
I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are.

I had already downloaded the update, so that wasn't it. I did figure it out and it was all on me!
+::biggrin

Spoiler: show
+::shhhh ... In my replay I had triggered the next event without completing a task so the rest of my players hadn't arrived yet.

I feel so...brainless....
