X-Elven God

OMG this fight is giving me some problems. The first time i tried it i got down to just the Durandal Twins but no matter what i did the damned thing beat me.Theres a whole bunch of em including the X- Elven god i managed to take him and the others just left the dreaded Durandal Twins.Am following the walkthrough which says to use Xanders strong spells and Wendi's Laxius spells and Clarias Song of Harmony and Coryool to heal with potions but alas im still getting beaten.Anyone any clues other than to maybe go back in to where the beer was and level up a bit +::sos +::sos

What are your character levels, and what equipment / strategy are you using?

Did you do the Legendra Tower and get the relics? There is a Taat-Xen-Skull that gives +Killer Hit to Coryool, making him very powerful. Also give him the Golgoth Armor from the Cave of Ice, and the War-God Helmet from the Silver Eagle Fortress.

I just reloaded a save and did the battle again.

Wendie with the North-Star Blade is unstoppable. First round of Deadly 3 to remove the purple things and boost everyone. Then, just keep firing Laxius Rockets and Torpedo - target the Durandal Twins first, then the Elven God and finally the dragon.

Coryool - attack and revive Clara if needed.

Clara - lucent body on herself, then defend.

Alexander - AXA all the way.

I added to my party. Wendala was with Xander, her Laxius Blast takes out quite a few of them and the Laxius Rocket gets the X-Elven God.
