chest behind hut

i wasn't able to reach the chest behind Amedeo's hut, marshlands of xen..Xander says it is far and he instructs Seiman not to swim to it because of his armor..does anyone knows how to reach it?

i dont know but when i tried i got bad luck.

i've been thinging what would happen if you unequip Seiman before he offers to swim to the chest?( because Xander is afraid that he's going to ruin his armor..)????in my next playthrough i will try it..there is also the possibility that the chest is a teaser
