Same problem here (I have Windows XP Home & SP 2, and I dowloaded the installation file from MediaFire). But I hope the Plimus crew will hurry up, so I could, despite this little bug, taste the first moments of LF III today ... um ... today according to my personal weekends' and holidays' timetable which puts midnight to 6 am instead of 12 am.

So the problem is with the windows maybe like i think.Indy will fix it somehow.

Downloaded and started just fine in Vista. Will be back once I can't get past the first quest (LOL!!).

I had no problem but used the other download, not mediafire..maybe that makes a difference!!
Also have Win7! I am at PEACE!!!

Nope the downloadable links are okay.It looks like only a people like me with Win Xp have that crash type error.

Strange, the media link is working perfectly (also tried the XP compatibility mode). Did you folks with the trouble enabled the mouse option in the game? That thing was the reason for LF2 to make quite the crushing. Just disable it (go to the game folder, open with notepad the file LaxiusForceIII.ini, go to the role with Mouse and change the number from 1 to 0. This will disable the mouse control, and hopefully - allow you to start the game.

I forwarded it to the technical side that made the game encryption.
Apparently Windows 7 and Vista work fine, XP does not (no idea why).
I hope to get an answer soon.

PS: both links are, or should be the same...
