Hey this is my first time playing the LF series, what is the story so far?

This is your first time playing LF series??? And play and find out. We shouldn't spoil it.

It is a verrrrrrrry long story about a boy and his destiney. Along the way he and his girlfriend make a lot of new friends who all come together in LF3. It really would be much better to play the games all in order.

Basic Premise: A young man and his friends fight the forces of darkness.

Beneath the Basic Premise: Seriously, go play LFI and LFII. There is so much that goes on that I can't really tell you everything without writing something that would equal the length of an essay. Besides, the gameplay and feel of LFIII is relativity unchanged from LFI and II, and in that regard, it's a lot like one gigantic game because of that, especially since you can export data from one game to the next. (I didn't do that from II to III, but I have played LF I and II regardless.) So yeah, do play LFI and II and first.

Although, if you want to see the how some of the(some, not all,) really important characters from Laxius Force began, you might want to play the prequel '3 Stars of Destiny' first. Just sayin'. (And in case anyone says 'GO PLAY THE FREEWARE TITLES LAXIUS POWERI-III FIRST!', you don't have to. Really, you don't. Heck, I didn't play them all the way and even I know that 3 Stars rectonned certain details from the original freeware titles anyway. So no, you don't have to play the freeware titles.)

Of course you don't have to, but they are great games.

Thank you. I've been trying to say this for a while now without everyone getting offensive and saying "STILL PLAY THEM!". This is why I didn't want to play them. As the author himself just said, LF is better then LP. Now, in the cases of some series, I might play a previous title if it's actually better in some way. But I've played LPI and LPIII somewhat ages ago, and let me tell you, while those memories are distant, I remember just enough that I don't think the sheer level of quality in every area is as high as LF. And backstory-wise, you learn all that you need to know with 3 Stars and LF. No offense to you fans, but I just don't see any reason to play LP.

Aaaaaaand despero,u should really play LF I and LF II before LF III or else you're npt gonna understand what our heroes are doing in LF III

He's playing LF3 withouth playing LF2 and 1????What does he have in mind????

BTW, The grand commendanter looks liek a robot?

From the fan art I thought he looked liek a regular miedieval warlord. Oh well. Anyway...

Great Job, but srsly thought that the default rmxp battle style is getting a little overated and I lieked how you changed it up a bit in Laxius Party, all in all, great storyline but totally surprised me when i found out the great commendanter looked liek a bloody robot, and that sarah had wings. [WHY WINGS???]

But I missed the art you did for LP3. THat was AWESOME!!!

So...Did you or did you not start LFIII without doing LFI and LFII? Seriously, you'll be lost on a lot of points without doing so, as well as key character development. You'll know and care for some of the characters a lot more if you played the first two. I see no reason not to play the first two unless you're nearly broke.

Hek I played LP3 before LP1
