Stuck in Underwater section

Stuck in underwater section on path to the airport. No clue where to proceed from been going around for 2 hours and random battles all the time. Any help would be great

um well
I think it's two screens right from the start, of course after the little ante-chamber. i do know it's one screen after the lamia nest - which is a staircase that goes down. there'll be a path there flanked by those little pillars that are topped by purple orbs. if you go there something will happen and you can move forward. hope it helps!

you wont need the rope, you need however to find another lamia that owns the key to the prisoner lamia.

oh wait i forgot to talk with random first... lol
Edit: Nope, even with the guide I can't find the key... I'm not much a fan of puzzles and constant battles mixed with exploring rofl. If anyone finds it plz post with spoiler tag.
Edit #2: I got Xander, Brussian, Kratin, and Sarah all to level 99 with the Crystal Zapoos. Rofl. Still no key though.
Edit #3: Been down here for 3 hours, anyone find the key yet? :-(

I found it...hard to explain though. From beginning go east/south path. Head down and keep going easy
There is a staircase with a green chest and a dragon wandering nearby (not the one with the crystal zapoos the other green chest) The lamia is a random enemy walking around on the island. Just kill it and you get the key.

Its one of those walking around you can see.
