My game has trouble loading now and this is the error message I got thanks.

It is a very common error that happens on computers that are running programs in the background or having low RAM.Since this game has lots of save slots... It's common to get Script is Hanging error. I use only the first 100 for example.

I get it when my laptop is in battery mode and i click on "item".
It works fine if the laptop is on the AC mains.

I was not getting this error message earlier. And as far as my computer having low ram, I have 40 gigs on my hard drive and a 4 gig comp. So my ram isn't low. This error is definitely in the game. I am a beta testa for John Wizard games, and I know an in game error message when I see one. Also I only use 3 save slots. Thank you.

Hey Katie..the same thing has happened to me a few times..I save often and when it happens I have to start over from the last save point. The game completely shuts down and I have to restart. I don't know what the problem is.

Yes. That's exactly what was happening to me. So I uninstalled and reinstalled, and tried to load save slot one again, same thing, then I loaded save slot 2 and it was fine. Weird +::O_o

But earlier I could load save file 1 just fine. Yep perplexing.

It sometimes happens to me too. BUT before you sell items do you get this error when entering the item menu???

For me it's happening when I enter the item menu or in a shop or salesman's sell option

Yes having a small inventory does help (not too many lines) and also computers are naturally perplexing.... +::Dunno

You can try this patch which should hopefully solve the "Script is Hanging" error when viewing your items: http://www.mediafire.com/?ht6arztwryvd760

Viewing them does become a bit slower so don't apply it if your computer is fast enough ^^

Edit: I should say that it also decreases the number of saves to 99.
