When I return everything is black. The menu screen will come up, but then it will return to darkness when left. I stumbled in the gloom away from the (darkened) sunny lands into a new cutscene (Rilla & Aaron). This turned the lights back on. So no worries from my point of view, but to note nevertheless.

More curiously for me was it was all in order to find this mentioned Suldai Pyramid, which I have not been able to find. Do I need to talk to someone. Perhaps it too late in the plot now? mmm...any clues?
