How do you complete this quest?

I think Alexandra does it, but I'm not sure when/how.

Right now I am in Adrenta, right after Random's body. Don't want to leave if quest can be done now????? I know Alexandra has to do it, but how???.

This quest might be bugged or have a twist... i'm after Kondler (1st visit) and it's no longer available.

I figured that out after I got back from Krondor and loaded an earlier save file to try and get it but so far no luck. I thought it had to do with raising the mind but it hasn't helped so far.

I can still see the quest in my list -- I am at the part after lost island which is after 2nd visit to Kondler

I meant in the Mage Guild.

oh yea..there it goes away the moment you receive new quests and that happened to all the old quests that I had from Mage guild. I started a new game and finished the quests first before going to Kondler but I still could not finish thesis quest.

It doesn't move to pending quests like some of the others? I'd think that was a glitch...

has anyone finished this quest yet? I still can't figure it out....

haven't tried this yet, just a theory... you might have to choose alexandra from yveen... as one of the companions you want back, and then try to write the thesis

Then the quest is broken at the mage guild because it drops off of thier list when you go the Krondler the first time.

Yes, it's on the quest list in LF2. So are you saying that if you didn't do it before the end of LF2, it can't be done.

tbh i'm not entirely sure, i would need to check it.
