Man I was going through defending the towns, the first 4 or 5 were easy until I got to Coryool.

At that point I thought it was over then I was like oh my...1 more with coryool?!! And I had all poorly leveled characters at that point.

I used every bit of healing item and somehow got through....if there was even one more fight I would have lost though.

The triple mythic dragon fight and double lethal dragon fight made me cry but luckily I was on easy mode and imported and luckily I had deuterium left as a choice and he's so good ._.

Speaking of character levels, what's a late game leveling place? I have just come out of the airport.
I have "used" up the Crystal Zapoo cave ...

I myself have a question about this scenario; as a non-importer, (have played LFI&II, it was just a personal choice,) are there any recommendations for 'setting up' this event?

Also, at the 5th part, my only choices were Xander, Sieman, Tarabulla,Kenny, and Petula, and unfortunately, the latter 3 are quite bad when it comes to combat. I left out Kenny, but I think would have lost if I chose her instead of Petula regardless. Is there anyone I could choose for this part if I hadn't chosen them previously, or are these 5 the only choices I have?

You really need to import and level up Tarabulla.

With some items that you purchase from Balnuunla in LF2, she counter-hits, counter-spells and has huge HP (2000+). Also, she can learn Lord of the Dance from Luciana (Mage Guild Fusion).

Having said that, I haven't reached this point yet (still exploring with Coryool, Gwahahaha), so I may have no idea what I am talking about :).

I haven't explored the game fully but my only leveling recommendation is that we use the fire guild like we did in LF2. With all the new toys and spells, I'm sure it's easier than ever to find a party leader who can one hit the level 3 trainer which is acceptable exp. Not amazing like the heaven dragon in LF1, not amazing like crystal zapoo, but it was enough to get some people into their 70s in LF2.

Yeah, I spent an hour leveling up Vanina, Leanda and Marilys before the Global Wars. Finally got bored and did the war...

Are you asking about party choices? Mine were:

- Coryool, Tarabulla, Kratin and Deuterium
- Xander, Brussian, Marion and Timbany
- Djarma, Sandy, Angelina and Guanidia
- Herbert, Oglong, Leanda and Kenny
- Joshua, Marilys, Fierce and Broff
- Claria, Lilly, Cindy and Cocka-Cocka

Marilys and Claria were in their 50s, Leanda 30s. All others above 70. Use Zapoo cave, Trial of Kondler and Fire Guild to level up everyone.

Buy 10-15 of the Mechu Nachylte from the Aqua Guild - it boosts most characters quite well.

Make sure you do the Legendra Tower quest (go from Leni's guild) before the Rillian war camp - you get a ton of relics.

One of them inflicts "Killer Hit" on Coryool - he can one-hit critical kill a Mythic Dragon! An ultimate armor for him is found in the Cave of Ice.

The Baretta machine in the airport has some awesome stuff for Deuterium. He too can kill dragon handily with Multi hits.
Give the Ketakeri blade to Kratin. LF2 stuff to Tarabulla, and she can cast Burning Armies to have the entire party attack an enemy. Also, she heals everyone every fight ...

Give Tiki-Tikoo suit and Primal Fear to Timbany, he has attack of 1200+!

Give conch of dreams (found one more in LF3 - you get the map to it in a chest near Zapoo cave) to Xander, MP cost now 0.25! You also get an ultimate weapon for him that does the same reduction in the Ultai desert (search the forum).

Do the Cocka missing? quest in Ultai (search the forum) to get an Ultimate feather for Cocka that allows to hit twice. Abuse Firestorm.
Use Lucent body on Claria to avoid getting hit, use her to heal.
Lilly does 2000 damage every round even to dragons.

Rest of it was quite straightforward.

Thanks Indy. I think puzzled is referring to Claria's team.

Actually, Lilly does 2000 damage every round, even to dragons, so no weaklings here. Just need to stay alive for a few rounds.
Cindy's Hyper Wind Blast and Furia de Rillia are also pretty good - you should have got her Thief's Glorious items from the Thief Guild, to boost up her EV and stats.
Without Cocka, one might substitute Nash - with Fusion (Sarah's spells) and Neon's own spells, he is pretty good too (make sure you get the Ultimate Ice Mantle from the Lost Island) - easy fight with a leveled up Wendala.

How do you get the mechu nachlyte from aqua guild? I could not find the rogue sharks, did you have to find them before they would sell this thing?

I missed so many characters like lilly and nash so the fight was quite difficult. I can't imagine further not having cocka or tarabulla if you didn't import >_>

I got bored too, CIndy wasn't leveled so never got furia de rillia or wind blast.

You have to only do the Ohgmor quest, then the lamia starts selling to you. BTW, she also sells you what you need to complete the Breathe Underwater quest.

PS: I'm not sure if I actually did the rogue sharks quest. Near the Zapoo Cave, there is a hole that takes you to the "Open Sea". Random says something, and two sharks attack. I killed them, but no quest update.
You can keep going back to the hole and respawing the sharks, but very boring ...
