How did you guys beat him? Oo

I wound up using an LF2 move called Etnah I think you get from fire guild, did like 1000 per turn. Other than that though all random's normal moves seem to suck hard, even laxius power and apocalypse >_>

That's weird I used thunder spell that inflicts thunder numb a few times and it never caught on. He must be resistant to it. Good thing for etnah.

for me it worked on the first try and it only took two hits to obliterate the jerk. weird.

Yikes! I don't have Etnah. Is that the only way you can beat Louis?

I have gone back to the Fire Guild but can't seem to get the Etnah spell. Any suggestions please?

Thunder numb him and then just keep casting that spell. He should go down after a few rounds. Boosting Random's mind before the fight seemed to help quite a bit.

as an alternative, you can use all the booster items you saved up from all 3 games on rend... make sure to especially give him all HP, RES, and MD stuff, and STR too. It will still be hard, but if you're proud like me, it will make you feel better to kill him without magic. +::lol

Thanks for the advice. I recall that Random says he is going to "trick" him. So it must be by using magic and beating him? I can't think of any other way to trick him.

I did it! Boosted him up with everything I had. Hit with thunder sword and then laxius thingie and he was a goner with one hit. Thanks for the advice.
