The Witch coven in Mt.Zulle, Cindy

When you're at Mt.Zulle you could try going to the witch coven, if you bought the druid book the witch can teach you an evil spell, apparently it inflicts plague (among other things) and it is good against ghosts. Also, while you're there, have Cindy in your team, inflict her with tarabula's energy burn and steal from the chest near the zombie, there are a lot of goodies inside. My thievery points were 63, and random was wearing a luck ring. I suggest you give it a shot. :)

I'm assuming I have to LVL Cindy up to do this then? I've only got her up to 50 thievery points with the energy burn, luck ring, and primo hat/fast shoes......the WT thread says to bite her with brussians werewolf skill, but all this does is kill her.

I'm really about to give up on this one....

I think you're going to have problems if Cindy is only lv 50. What I did was to equip her with Linderitz Scimitar weapon, Sharp Spike shield, Primo Hat head, Thermo Suit armor, and Fast Shoes. Then inflict the werewolf condition on her using Brussian's Werewolf Bite skill and the energy burn condition using Tarabulla's Energy Burn skill. Also equip Random with the luck ring. In order to avoid killing her, unequip Brussian; this lowers his strength. If that's still not enough to keep her alive you can come back here once you've levelled her up. I can't remember now what level I had her at, but I do know that it was at least 65 - which may be much more than you need.

Good luck

Also very important if you let Brussian bite Cindy up there at the Witch Coven: She has to wear Thermo Suit 1.2. Otherwise she'll have frozen blood condition which lowers her HP drastically and will never survive the bite.
You can also equip her with stuff that increases her RS before biting her and after that change to equipment that increases SP.

Thanks guys, I finally got it, no clue how I pulled it off, but she opened it with just Tara's energy burn and I think 55 thievery pts....maybe 60. I had to go back and do a few more quests for the thieves guild that I had long forgotten about.

I didn't have the Linderitz Schmitar weapon.....I think I sold it after Sandy died and I thought I wouldn't need it anymore....in fact I sold a lot of weapons from my dead characters, and I'm beginning to believe it's going to come back and bite me.

I'm more or less afraid of getting the hanging script error because my items list is ginormous, I've got 99's of a lot of stuff, but I don't use much because I've putzed around and leveled up my characters so most of my battles are a one swiper or at least done on the first round.

I'm probably going to have to play the series all over again because there are a lot of quests that I cannot do because I didn't level up my characters. I didn't do the missing girl quest, the high mind test, the one where you get broff, the one that you have to use broff to cure the plant.....etc. +::fear

Yes, if you have a slow computer is not good to have lots of items. :)

I can reliably crash the game with this error when my laptop is in battery mode (and I browse the inventory).
The game runs fine and no crash on A/C mode.
