I kind of forget, when do we lose alexandra/kommender? I remember when he uses the bomb, but when is that? Is that immediately following when wendala/alexandra are lost on the island?

Reason I'm asking is I'm trying to delay leveling kommender/alex as long as possible for the tournament, what's the last time you can train them using stuff like fire guild or other methods?

I don't want to go through the lost island sequence just to find out he uses the bomb right after, but I forget.

They go right after the island, but I think you have the choice to putz around before actually going to your doom in the throne room.

Do you remember the reward from alexandra's dream on the island? Would it help with the arena tournament?

Also when you return from the island I don't think you can use kommender anymore right? You have to go straight to the throne room to meet up with everyone else? Or I can't remember, can you putz around with everyone?

I actually never used him at all so I have no idea if you can. As for the reward, I will be finding that out myself soon as I could never get past the vampires and eventually I just got fed up and didn't do it hehe

Have you been trying to use powerful items on the vampires?

Make sure she is fully equipped before you get back on the boat and she will be okay if she is a high enough level. You can't use powerful items since you lose access to all of them when you get separated from the rest of the party.

Thanks but I already know this. I just need to know when the last time is she and kommender can be leveled up for the tournament.

1. Alexandra dream - I only got a spellbook that teaches a healing type spell

2. Kommender - you can definitely do the arena before you go to the throne room. This is the last chance - once you go to the throne room, no more Kommender. Although I was not able to get him to win ...

What's the last time you can access the underwater? Are you able to revisit it once you hit the last chapter or not? I think the regular zapoos might be the best training option after the crystal ones wear out.

I don't think you can access the underwater after you get to the Airport.
You do go back to insert the Orbs, but that limits your party members.

Cave Zapoos are good - equip Brain-Dazzler and other MP regen items on Random (also Mist Glaze), and just use Elf Slaughter. 1000 XP each round.

Crystal Zapoos are awesome - just use Luciana and St Christograd. Down in one round, no sweat. Unfortunately, there are limited numbers of them.

Indy, can we please have more Crystal Zapoos? I'm even prepared to do a quest to get them back!

In the late game, Marion gets a reward called "Ten Centuries of Teaching", an accessory item that gives 10 x LVL XP each round. Use it in the Fire Guild hard fight with Tara in the party. You can get 1200 or so exp each round. I used it to get Leanda from 13 to 35 in half an hour.

i think i've added 100 fights against crystal zapoos in the new version lol just for you

I wanted to know - does the luck ring influence how many Zapoos are spawned? If so, that would be cool... my tests didn't show any difference though.

I don't think it does, but it's a nice idea ^^
