I have an uncomfortable feeling about this; I just completed 4 quests with broff and he got some sort of consumable mushroom item after completing the 4th one. Do you guys suppose he might get better equipment if you do quests with him? Maybe you guys could try to include him, I'm wayyyy late in the game right now to get more quests with him ; /

I have him at Lvl 78 with over 500 kills and 7-8 quests. He doesn't get a whole lot better. The last spell he got was Earthquake 9.0. His spells are basically useless at the higher levels. The only way I got the reward from the Secret Guild was to Defend with everyone else in the party so he could get the kill and save him if he got in trouble.

Edit: You do get a couple of Relics that he can equip as accessories in the Tower (i forget the name) that Leni takes you to.

Yeah, Broff is bad. I had him at lvl 84, but no use.

I did a few quests with him, he gets stuff like "White Carrot" and so on. Not really useful stuff.

The Orb of Metal raises his defence, so you might want to try that.

Where exactly is that metal orb? After you open the huge airport door with the 7 orbs?

Yep. After opening the gate. Just look around a bit, it's sort of hidden.

I have Broff at 85 right now but no chance so far in the arena, and not sure if he will at 99 either...! He has no more equipment or anything so far, though am not so far into this game yet.
