please help with institute

I know this has been asked, but I followed all those posts and I have turned switches on and off for hours. I am ready to give up on game, still no Daryl or whatever I'm supposed to see. Thank you.

Aw, don't give up, it's fun. Get way down and you'll find a path there that will take you to another part of the lab, the part you need to go. there'll be two sets of stairs right there, you can't miss them. Daryl will be on the right side.

Thanks for your reply! I have been everywhere, no Daryl just endless bugs and ogres. Really has ceased to be fun b/c I can't even return since Walz left.

if your seeing bugs an ogres, your not in the institute but the warehouse where the ice crawler is. you need to travel east of mt zulle to get to the institute.
