end of game (spoilers)
Posted: Wed Sep 22, 2010 1:50 pmSo I have finished playing yesterday and to be honest I am really disappointed. I really thought the game will continue when the heroes came back to Adretana.
Grand Commendanter - that's it? few blows, not really interesting fight. Since this one was the greatest villain of all, I expected a way much harder fight, not just finishing him in a few blows. and when I killed him I was like: "This can't be definitely the end of him. I believe he will be back."
I also expected how everyone will cheer, how there will be a really big feast and celebration. Not just Xander and Brussian welcoming them, saying hey,good job and that was it..
When I started playing LP1 so many years ago, it was full of shocking moments (I will never forget the attack on SankT Leona hospital - that just gave me shivers and it was awesome), it was also full of love between Sarah and Random.
In LF3 the only moment that gave me shivers was when Random and Sarah were in the room at the inn and Titanic attacked.
What I was missing is:
-hard and stunning GC fight (making me want to destroy my keyboard,screen and throwing pc case out of window .. well .. I have a laptop now so I would only throw a laptop out of window)
-heart-taking ending
-sweet moments between Random and Sarah
-Sarah was kind of useless in LF3 (not much dialogues since she is one of main characters, weak and useless spells - Oni, Sun Boomer Attack, Noxodox Curse etc. - never used them in LF3, yet were really helpful in past series)
-shocking and heart-stopping moments (like i said earlier)
-free-roam playing after finishing the game (I still haven't finished all the side-quests)
-Luciana should have died (It's not like I wanted her to die, I really love her since very beginning. I wouldn't stand it if she died but since she almost died, she should have. It would be really shocking dramatical moment)
-Random making decisions as leader (almost all decisions were made by Luciana)
But I don't want to say only the bad things about LF3. So the things i loved:
-Luciana (she is getting smarter and smarter, proved as a leader - just like a queen and a goddess would)
-Wendala (I never liked her since LP1 to LF2, but in LF3 I started to like her more and more, don't know why-maybe because her black-leather suit
)
-Coryool (funny as always, especially his beer-bomb-attack - that just killed me how stupid thing he did)
-Guanidia (also funny as always - his cowardly dialogues)
-Louis (The last thing I expected was his comeback and working for GC)
-Kommender (I liked his way talking to GC, he talked to him like GC wasn't the baddest of all - no respects)
-I WILL play it at least one more time like I did the other parts (I played LP1 more than 5 times)
I can't think of more things now but when I remember some more, I would gladly post them
I also wanted to ask - when I finished, party appeared in Laxius Manor. Only accesible area is the basement-musem and I cannot leave the house. is that right? and if so, why? Is there no possible way to play further and finish side-quests?
Oh and one more thing.. I HATE!!! Daryl. He is such an annoying old ugly guy I would love to punch him in the face
STORY OVERALL - Indy, you did an awesome, really really awesome job making Laxius series and I love you for it. You have encrypted yourself and your work in my life and I will never forget that and I will never miss a single minute I spent playing your Laxius games. I have so many great memories on the times I played every part. You should receive a Nobel prize for this! Honestly, Laxius series were the games I loved most in my life even if the graphics aren't great.
I remember one time I asked you if LF3 will be the end and you said you yourself don't know yet. I hope you will continue in your work. I cannot imagine that I would never see Random, Sarah, Luciana and Wendala again.

when you said this lol to me LF3 is better than all past 5 laxius games in that. You have Aliener, Titanic, the bomb attack, Louis's betrayal, the Hero Armor merging with Random, Apocalypsia, reviving of friends, the Forbidden Dragon after Luciana, the underwater Airport, the global War, the taking of the Airship, tricking Kommender and his robot, the GC scene, Luci killed by Random, Astral-Litz going down, the Iron Manor, Hondler, Guidibba, the narrow escape of Astral-Litz, can you name another Laxius where more happens?
