A tip if you are struggling with the caves with the old biddies in 1001 Lakes.Leave em while after you have done the Assault and Waltz has teleported you back to Adretna.Ramdon absolutly murders em but beware cos each time you kill one of the old dears your party's energy drops and you have to heal up each time.

Yep they sure do .Question is how to beat the Generator as Random says he dont have a clue how to destroy it

With Brussian in you party you can find a hidden area before you go to the generator with a locked gate. Flip the switches to unlock the gate and then go back to the hidden area.

Put Tarabulla in your party when you go to kill the little old ladies. She automatically heals everyone in the party after each round. She is rapidly turning into my second favorite character.

Yep, Wendie is still first.

My perfect party would be

Wendie
Tarabulla
Brussian (for his perception and with the right weapon)
and I'm leaning toward Angelina (pretty tough cookie, that one)

How is Angelina stronger than Random though?

She isn't.

I'm not talking strongest in every case. But Random is in 99% of the battles. And he annilliates everyone most of the time. It's nice sometimes to have to fight to win one. That's why the lost island was so much fun. You had to work to win, not just hit rush and come back when the battle was over.

thanks for the info,but i still cant find the generator room,i have killed the old dears four times already,found two secret places one a room with the bull outside,but still cant find the hidden switch,even with brussian in my party.
any advice would be much appreciated.

It's not in the room with the old ladies. In the very NE corner of that area appears a new door at a certain point of the game - just before the Global War. That door will lead you to Oghma. If it's not there yet you might be too early.

thanks casiopia ,i must be too early,no problem i was going through my magica potions too much anyway gives me a chance to level up before i try again.
