Deuterium

I am currently trying to level up Lilly, Daryl and Deuterium and noticed something. If I check Status after every fight, Deuterium sometimes lists "Daryl's friend" but it keeps coming and going. Also his attack, strength, resistance, speed and mind are all higher when it shows "Daryl's friend". What causes this to come and go?

i think that's when he and daryl are in the same party.

I kinda thought that, but wondered why it came and went when I had both in the party.

You get the same kind of thing when Alexandra and Xander are in the same party.

Somewhat off-topic, but I really enjoyed the 3 Stars of Destiny method. As two characters participate in more fights together, they get bonuses whenever they are in the same party.
This, and the slayer mechanism from LP3 - Indy, you should think of putting these two in the next LF-S games...
