Where's a good place to level up early?

I'm trying LF3 nonimport and normal mode, and BOY IS IT HARD. I'm stuck already at zoramar's place at his guardian where you fight the same guy 4 times in a row. With so few items and not very good spells or equipment, I die on the 4th time or so you have to fight him. So I'm looking for a good leveling up spot. The fire guild wendala won't allow us to go to, so where is a good place?
Ok edit: the good thing is that even if you die against zoramar's guardian, it loses its lives permanently so if you knocked off 3 lives, he only has 1 left. Made it past without having to level up, phew.

You may want to level up in the eastern lands when you get the chance!!! Or you could also go down into the sewers and do a little leveling!!

Yes Eastern Lands are cool, use Wendie's large spells!
And replenish fast with the MP healing potions, so you can last in Zoramar's and actually anywhere!
Normal Mode + Non Import is so cool imo

The best place is lava pool in fire guild

tell me sumthng please?does daryl not get the extra XP tht everyone in the army gets after each lava pool session end?he says he dsnt like the lava and thts it..or am i missing sumthng..he has to be one of the most difficult people to level up after broff,i tell u..
