Attack/Etnah

Since some time (I think it started underwater) the leader of my party is given the choice of either attacking or casting Etnah at the begin of each fight, no matter who is in the party and who the leader is. Etnah costs 29MP but they still can cast it when they run out of MP.
Why is this??? +::Dunno

Okay, I checked my save files and tried to figure out when it started. It was in the Cave of Ice. It was the third cave I went to. Before I was in the Cave of Water and there everything was normal. Then I went to the Cave of Ice with Deuterium as leader (equipped with Baretta X-Drill, Auto Loader B12-D24, X-RR3 Headphone, Cyborg Corpiuscus and Onyx Pendant), Herasia (Balrog Lord Claw, Gaes Fur, Feather D'An, Bone Shatterer Skin and Seed Pendant), Tarabulla (don't know how she was equipped when entered because in my file she still has the equipment for melting the armor) and Seiman (Ketakeri Blade, Crystal Madu, Legendra Helmet, Thieve's Glorious Mantle and Seed Pendant). In this party only Tara should be able to cast Etnah, but Deuterium was the one who did it.
Later in the Silver Eagle Fortress I had Coryool (leader), Marilyis, Claria and Leanda. None of them can cast Etnah. Yet Coryool did it - even with 0 MP.
I now tried a fight with only Random and no equipment. Still the same. Is my game cursed? +::Dunno
If it is, it's a cool curse. It helped A LOT in the fortress. Hope it don't affect the rest of the game because I don't really want to replay.

Tarabulla is the one who has the spell, right?

Yes, maybe she triggered this. But like I said, the option to choose attack or Etnah also appears when there's nobody in the party who manages this spell, like you see on the screenshot.

Do you maybe want the two save files before and after it happened?
If yes, where should I send them?

Sent.
Yet I decided to replay though. The ArenA is quite boring with this bug. Sometimes it's really annoying to lose 300 times with the weaker characters but then the final success at the 301st time is a completely different feeling than winning just because of a bug.
I already replayed a little part from the point before the bug and it didn't occur again.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, now it DID appear again! And I think I figured out what maybe could have triggered it. It was resting at the Harem.
I rested and went on to the Thunder Cave - and there it was. I replayed once more and went to the Thunder Cave without resting - and it didn't occur.
But now another weird thing happens: Now my party leader immediately attacks, no matter who the leader is. Again I tried to figure out the reason. It occurs after changing the party. I can leave the Ice Cave (where I've just been before) and return as often as I want - everything stays normal. But as soon as I do a little change (it's enough to take one party member out) and return to the Ice Cave again, the leader immediately attacks in each fight.
Now that's a problem. I can avoid to rest, but not to change the party. Don't want to continue with another bug. +::fear

FINALLY:
It was the Fire Frenzy spell I used on Tarabulla to melt out the armor. Seems that it's bugged. So DON'T use it, at least not for this. Don't know if it would be the same elsewhere - didn't use it so far.
You can get the armor without it. My Tara was at lv 67, equipped with Braserando, Engineer Glove, Brain-Dazzler, Lallahuna Cream and Capul Ring. It worked with no spell at all, I just gave her a Hero Cream.

I had a problem similar to this, except Etnah didn't consume 29 SP but 40~ something. The problem's gone now, I remember that it lasted from when I first taught Etnah to my characters (following the guide) through two dungeons (including the ice dungeon, which was very easy as a result). Then, it just vanished, *poof*.

I don't believe I have the save file anymore, but I hope this information will help somewhat.

It seems to have somethng to do with with one of tara's spells, fire frenzy I think. Tara is given that option for a few turns, but if you remove Tara from the party before the spell runs out the effect seems to be perminate, at least intil you put Tara back into the party and let the effect run out. +:::| I,m sure it's a bug, but it can be very usefull for the Arena or if you put a member with low magic ability as leader of the party, as it still works when you're down to zero MP. Funny I didn't use it after I realized how to stop this effect. +::Dunno
