Relic quest still buggy

I know along time ago when I got a Relic I was told I had 14 relics and I think I found more after that. Yet even after unequipting all items I'm told I only have 11 relics, so the quest can not be completed. I'm now back playing after the Golbal Wars so a fix would be of little help to me now. Yet I thought you might want to know about this?
