script hang patch for LF3?

I'm getting the "script hang" message and shutdown, even though I tried, throughout 1, 2, and now 3 to sell off items I knew I didn't need. The problem is that I still have tons and am paranoid about what I can safely sell off. (Example: a while back a sold the Linderlitz Scimitar, which turned out to be a mistake, though there was no obvious reason to keep it.)

Does the patch for LF 2 work on LF3? I don't want to mess things up. Better yet, does anyone have a list of items it's okay to sell?
