I'm in Chapter 12 after coming back from the lost island, so far I followed the walkthrough by littlebro and I'm at the point where I should ask Leni to go to the Legendra Tower. Strangely enough when I ask to go to other places in the map library I'm only given two places: Beach and Crys Island. Am I doing something wrong or have I missed an important task..?! I appreciate it if someone has an insight on this as I haven't seen this issue anywhere else on the board..

i honestly never tried to go to Legendra tower through Leni...i've always just walked there....can you not leave town and just walk there through 1001 lakes??

That's the wrong tower, Emmy!
Legendra Tower is the one where you have to fight through 50 levels!
But I don't know what the problem could be, sorry!

Could it perhaps have anything to do with the points acquired? I have 490 right now, is that too little for the map to appear?

I've tried everything and I still can't get Leni to show me the map.. *frustrated*

This is probably not of any use to you at this point, but I got the map after I helped Leni with a new quest for the guild -- bring her friend to the guild, a lamia standing out in the entrance gate -- really simple quest. I am not absolutely sure if that was the trigger, but I think it must have been... try that for anyone who might be out there playing LF3 now and getting frstrated, too...
