Please can somebody tell me where this place is- i go to the transport place but they only take me to Baretta's shop or further south- Help!!

You must travel to the south and there talk to the transport guy again. You'll get the choice to travel to the Western Lands. There you need to walk east 2 or 3 screens I think and somewhere to the top of a screen there's a cave. That's the Guard.

Have gone to the south transports but it comes up only mainland or eastern - when does this quest become available and do i have to have anyone special in my party? many thanks

I know, that's a bit confusing. You get the choice to go to the east, yet there are the Western Lands.

The quest to fight the Kenezzear guard necromaner

The Keneezer Guard is in the East, in the way going to Moormore.

I believe you get this quest after being to Kondler for the first time.
You get it from Sandra in the Mage Guild and no, I don't think you need someone special in the party.
