Finished part one tonight-I truly hope there is a part 2! Great game, I thoroughly enjoyed it. A few glitches, but the creator fixed the issues for me. I enjoyed the story and am looking forward to seeing what happens next. A big negative for me-the random encounters were often so frequent they became extremely annoying. Sometimes they would pop up every one or two tiles! Most, however, were easy to escape. There were a lot of typos and grammatical errors, but this often adds to the charm of this type of game-for me, at least! Also there were several occasions where the dialog wasn't translated to English from the original Portuguese, but it didn't affect the gameplay or storyline.

Also could all the quests be finished in part one? If so, where is the sword the soldier in Fayel Port asked for? And when does Minerva's telekinesis become strong enough to reach certain items?

Congratulations on an enjoyable and entertaining game! And thanks for your assistance!

Yeah, RPGMaker 2000, the engine that I used to make this game is crappy in this matter, sorry.

Glad to hear that the typos hasn't bothered you much, about the portuguese dialogues, I was planning to release this game in portugues and then in english but I dropped the idea. However, if you say which dialogues are in portugues, I will fix them.

Yeah, all quests can be finished in part one. About the knight quest, you must get a broken katana on the basement of Anji Temple, then you must have Mythril, then give the katana and the mythril to the weaponsmith on Fayel to fix it. :)
The telekynesis will be improved in the next game. :)

Good to see that you liked, and everytime you find a bug just say and I'll fix it, or try to fix. +::biggrin
Which part of the game you liked most?

DSquall: not being the most computer-literate individual, could you please give me some instructions on how to download and play your new game? i downloaded the game, but don't understand the rtp process, and as you say, the game won't run without the rtp. i'm sure you're extremely busy, but could you walk me through this -- i've installed and uninstalled and am not sure about what i'm putting on my computer.
i'm fairly new to the rpg world, but i'm totally hooked -- i've played all the aveyond games and now i'm working my way through the aldorlea catalogue. as someone who frequently needs assistance, i'm a regular visitor to the forum pages, and i follow your posts. i'm looking forward to checking out your game but am unsure how to proceed. thanks much.

Okay. :)

All you need to download the RTP by clicking on the link of the first post of the topic.

After you have downloaded click with the right button of the mouse and choose ''Extract here''.

Then click on the installer RTP that will appear. Install and done. ^^

All you have to do after is download the game and play. Thanks for the interest. +::Thumbup

@DSquall: not to be a nuisance, but i've installed the rtp and downloaded the game, but how do i play? i get no shortcut for the game -- the rtp and game are both in "saved games" folder. when i click on "legend of nexus" it asks what to open it with -- nothing opens the game. i know this is a bother and i'm in no hurry (i'm in the middle of Millennium 2), but i'd like to solve this quest 8). do i import rtp or game to another location? thanks again for your patience and best wishes.

DSquall: never mind.
i really don't get this process -- i've moved the installed rtp and downloaded game to my hard drive and just cannot understand how to run/play the game (i envy the computer literate). i'm having a great time with the aldorlea games and other rpgs and i'll stick with those.
congratulations on your creation -- must have been a tremendous and rewarding effort. already getting bogged down in Millennium 2, will be watching your helpful tips. regards, steve.

think it's my computer (a little Acer netbook) -- got the rtp installed on my C drive, but when i go to download the game it asks "open" or "save"? open it with what? or save it where? saved it on C drive also, but cannot find the combination to link rtp with the game, they just stand as separate items on my computer. i don't remember getting any option to "extract" the game, but will look again and try that. also will check the thread you suggested.
as i say, i've got my hands full with Milennium 2 (and the other Millenniums i will also play). i think it's an impressive achievement that you created your own game and my hat's off to you (not to mention all your helpful advice in the forum), but this may be one sidequest i forgo until i gain greater fluency with the computer. (i will try your recent advice, though) thank you for your time and patience. regards, steve.

You need to extract both patchs, game and RTP.

And you're welcome. ^^

I have two questions: first is I'm working on the water element quest and I have only seen it once, but I have looked all around the town. Am I missing something? Second, I read there was secret chests in the Crystal Caves but I looked around and couldn't find any except 2 that I couldn't get to. Was I not searching hard enough, and could someone give me an example of where I could find them? +::sos Thanks for the game it is a lot of fun.

Okay I found the water element lady, I didn't know there was more to the town, of course it makes sense that there would be. Still need help with the cave though.
