You must encounter the merchant after your first ending. If you finished one ending when you repeat he'll be there.

Yes! Don't worry. You can skip the texts you read with ctrl (but I guess you already know that. If you're stuck I can help you. I got all endings they are:

Leon's Bad
Leon's Normal
Leon's Good
Leon's Alternate
Gil's Bad
Gil's Good (Gil doesn't have a normal ending. Does he?)
Gil's Alternate
Ian's Bad
Ian's Normal
Ian's Good
Oswald's Normal
Oswald's Good (Namely the true ending)
Oswald's _____ (I won't tell you have to find it. It's really cool though.)
Secret Ending 1
Secret Ending 2
(But Azure, with those endings it's fifteen. Did I miss two? I only got those...)

I'm just gonna comment that leave it to Loofy to find so many endings at a short period of time. +::lol

I was having a hard time with Bionic Heart and Heileen2, while he got most of the endings. +::O_o

Well I use walkthroughs. But the ones that doesn't have a walkthrough it's still easy!

Oswald choices: (Thse are choices with Oswald I won't tell others.)
1. Keep Going
2. Turn Right
3. Are you the Demon Lord?
4. Nothing special
5. As long as I can see your face, it's okay.
6. Lie
7. You don't have to know
8. Go to the alleyway.
After that I think there are no more choices but you can raise your affection to Oswald by buying a pink crystal or a giant bat's eye. But if you want true ending don't. Buy a blue orb instead.

Do I really begin at the very beginning even if I played it through once already? (got Ian's good ending) +::biggrin

I never saved game, but there is a listing in *auto*. do I use the most recent one?

Wait. Use the most recent one and get Ian's Normal and bad ending.
To get them:
Normal one:
Don't listen to Cain while he dies. You'll get normal ending.
Bad one:
Instead of going after Ian and Gil in the frozen village wait them there.

(Note: The most recent save may not have the frozen village choice. Load an earlier save until then.)

After that go to Gil. I recommend that!
After that, Leon.
After that Oswald. The true ending is beautiful if it's seen last right?

If I use the one before the frozen village...will I be going through with the same fighting scene with Ian? or does it change because I ignore Cain? Is that what happens? +::O_o

Yes you'll see the same scene. But the most recent save should be before fight. Use it. Ignore Cain. Then there is a fight. Ian defeats Oswald. But this time. Ian dies. And frozen village melts. To save his village Ian sacrifices himself. Oops I guess I said too much already. But bad ending is more bad. There is a death. But not Ian... It's you... (Oops I can't stop this...)
