Those of you who like this sort of game, I am happy that you found one. I however, am not one of them. I detest games that you play 30 minutes, then spend hours trying to figure out what to do in order to progress with the game. I am currently at Noctopolis and for the 5th or 6th time run into a puzzle with no clue. I know I am supposed to try to hire several girls to dance for the guards, but no idea how. The waitress says have a seat, but no table triggers being served. The bar tender does not talk to me. So I have no idea how to give drinks to the knight.
I am at the point I would like my purchase price repaid and I will look for another game. Stumbling around hoping to trigger some action or additional clue is not my idea of a "fun" game and paying to frustrate myself doesn't seem a wise thing to do.

Hi rickardsh, in Noctopolis, after you fail at convincing the guards to let you into the castle, you need to walk back to the bottom of the city map. There will be a poster on the wall outside the equipment shop that wasn't there before. Check the poster, and you'll get the idea about dancing girls in the nightclub. Then go back to the nightclub; you can walk now walk on the stage and enter the office behind the curtain. Talk to the sleeping manager, and things will work out from there. Hope this helps.

Hi Rickardsh,
Listen to Rabbit as he/she does know what they're talking about - listen to me and I'll steer you all wrong +::biggrin

I hear 'ya about the level of frustration -
Despite some level of frustration - getting lost and feeling like I could be forever trapped (AARRRGGGG), or failing to find the thing needed to progress (looking at you, Solstice Key) - I did have a great time and would highly recommend this game to others +::Thumbup

It's a fine line, isn't it, between a certain level of struggle and when it becomes unbearably aggravating. I hovered there a bit myself, but whenever I ended up sorting it out, I felt an inordinate amount of (probably completely undeserved) success. Maybe that's what kept me going...or I saw it as "character building" or something +::lol

Thanks much!!! You see, that is far too subtle for me to "enjoy".

Or it's my underlying latent masochism or something +::biggrin I think gamers have a bit of that in our makeup - some more than others!

I'm having a similar problem that I just had with the game Warden. I bought that game and Nocturna before I traveled overseas and with both games, there was a patch for an issue and I wanted to get the patch, but the password for re-downloading the game has expired. May I get help with this for Nocturna?
I've already taken care of Warden and enjoyed the game.
Please help! I'm stuck in Esoteric house and Zenonia and read that there's a correction to allow you to rest in Zenonia.
Thank you!

Hi polarbr,

If you can find your email from BMT Micro Order Receipt, just forward back to them asking if they can reset your password. I had to do that multiple times recently with a new computer and they were amazing. Very quick response +::YAY

So what's the trick to get into the evil castle?
Spoiler: show
I've gotten the two women hired in the bar/night club, the old man is drunk and I can't figure out how to get past the 3 guards. I saw one hint here about going to sleep, then dreaming about getting into the castle, but there's no where to sleep in the back room and sleeping in the inn doesn't do a thing.

What am I missing?

And thank you MerryX for that info on getting back into the game. It worked like a charm!

Hi Polarbr
It's been a while since I played but from memory if you have the girls hired, and get the old guy into the back room of the club to sleep it off, there is a back door and you come out behind the three guards and can enter the castle.
In this game like no others I've played recently, you need to keep snooping around until the story moves on.
