I have exactly the same problem. I have activated the crystal and the necklace shows in items, but the quest is still showing as incomplete. Does anyone have a solution to this problem, and as stated the bird keeps repeating its talk.

I have successfully beaten the bird and retrieved Caliope's Stargazer necklace three times now, as well as activated the crystal, for the quest at Oxskull Mountain...yet the quest is still showing as incomplete +::grrr

I am assuming that this is a glitch and was wondering if it had been addressed? I am unsure of where to head to next so would appreciate any update on this...thanx in advance!

Hmmm...update to this quest, fought the bird again for the fourth time, and this time it registered as defeated, meaning the bird and the dialogue quit reappearing, and the quest now shows as complete, so now I can move on...hurray! +::YAY

Hi folks,oxskull-Bird is no glitch. You have to beat the bird several times (I did it three times) and then LEAVE the scene.Go into hole and come back to fight again. So iI won against him the fourth battle and could see what he was....Good luck

Actually, you need to make sure to stay alive with the bird form for at least 5 rotations BEFORE she changes. Unless it was to stay alive for 5 rotations with the aerfairy +:::|
