I had a Handbook of Buffs, but when I read it sometime in Chapters 1-5, it disappeared from my inventory. Then it showed up again in Chapter 7 when all the items were returned. But, when I read it again, it disappeared again. Is the book perhaps mistakenly marked as consumable? The Book of Status Ailments doesn't disappear. I did go back to an earlier save in Thundermeadow Beach, read the book, and sure enough, it disappeared.

Oops. I accidentally set it to self switch B not A, which is why you could keep grabbing potions. Well, at least you got another way to beat the special monster here now.

And yep, I did mark it as consumable by accident. Fixed it now.

I'm going to wait until Friday or so before sending an update to fix those two bugs, and the typos already mentioned, just to be sure nothing else pops up that needs a fix.

Critical chance applies to physical attacks only or it applies to spells too ?

Oddly enough I'd never had crab legs until I decided to make that a comment by Cedric. Then I got a sudden craving for them myself in 2018, and found a place that serves all you can eat crab legs for $21.99.

For critical chance it applies to any Physical attack. Some spells though are considered physical attack like Fire Slash and Holy Shards, and those can critically hit.

Take the southwest exit from Crossroad Inn as you are heading to Aurora. The farm is directly north of Aurora.

Crossroads then go south then west. It is that little farm to the NW of Aurora.

You can also go into the menu to system then turn on the quest marker if you get lost on where to go on the overworld map. Once you do that the location on the world map will have a pulsing white dot on it noting that is where you need to go next.

I'm not at home so can't confirm but if I recall right it is on the far NW side of the mountain range. Once I get home I can look it up in more detail and confirm it for you though if still needed.

Ooooooops. I apparently marked everything for the white tent, but that one uses the brown tent. Fixed. New build should be sent tomorrow fixing that and anything else that has been reported barring anything drastic coming up that I got to take care of first.

Also if you recall our discussion on Chapter 5 I did decide to let Jarvis have one more level when he joins (21 now instead of 20) in the new build. It won't fix everything, but should allow him to catch up faster if you've been side questing everywhere before he joins. He will also now have the appropriate SP for the new level as well.

@LadyJJ: Let me know if you need more help finding that volume!

Quick question : there is a dwarf that says once you find all secret rooms in the area you get to unlock a reporter skill ...
What area exactly ? he doesn't mention details ... I have 15 out of 15 secret rooms found so far ... so I am on the right track - but I don't understand if he meant I need to get to all 50 secret rooms first ... or 45 ... or he means something else

The secret rooms for the entire game. You will need 45 of 50 to get it, and the Dwarf who gives it to you will show up in the last town of the game.

The secret rooms for the entire game. You will need 45 of 50 to get it, and the Dwarf who gives it to you will show up in the last town of the game.

Some items appear to work but some of them are useless ? The scroll that writes itself doesn't appear at all in my inventory ... is that intentional ?
