Acashpat, I am in the Southern Islet and when you go in the cave, the first map, stairs down to the left, it shows 6 chests. I have been through the islet 5 times now and I just can't find the way in. I found l lot, including Troy, beat him, and went back to a previous save because I want the chests! Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

@Woofgang: I'm just curious--how many times did it take you to beat Troy and the MkII version of his drill machine? For those chest here are the directions:
1) When you enter the first area of the southern islet, use the teleporter. In this area take the southwestern exit.
2) Navigate through this area to the exit. In the next area, navigate through it to the exit
3) In this area, head to the leftmost part of this area to a dead end. Here you should see a pipe in the wall. Walk against this area and should exit to another area.
4) In this area, you will see a room like this
X X X X X X X' where X = door
| | | | | | |

Take the 2nd door from the rightmost door. Follow the doors till you exit. You will be in the area with six chests.

Thanks, Acashpat, i am on my way now. As for Troy, I beat him the first time. I have leonardo, Boaz, Leah, and Ryota in my party. My levels are between 44 for Leah and 55 for Leonardo. I did not use my favorite characater, Sylbil, and i have her leveled up pretty high due to her blessing skill. I am not happy! LOL! Anyway, I used Leonardo's Infernal Dragaon, Boaz's Forsaken Nocturne, Leah has the Trident, and Ryota's Balance Garb (I always use him as he can't get any status ills with the balance garb on) helps as I use him to kill and to get items if need be while the others fight. Anyway, the Leonardo and Boaz's skills work on all, while Leah works on one at a time, Ryota I use his machine skill kill and to replenish Leonardo and Boaz with Pep for their skills. Thanks again! I also can't remember if I found a golden statue. I will have to check.
PS - Just went to get the chests. Thanks! I found that area before and found something before, so I checked another door and assumed (wrongly) that they would all lead to the same chest I found earlier! Thanks, again.

@Woofgang: Yeah like you I had Sybil constantly due to her Blessing and Miracle Skill. It took me a few tries due to fact I was a lower level than you are (party was between 30-45) so it took a moment. Good luck because you are about to face a tough foe ahead.

Thanks, I am at high levels due to looking for things! I get so turned around when fighting that I forget where I went, etc. In other games, when you've killed enemies, they don't come back and you can figure out where you have been and where you are going. Thanks!!

Hi,
I unequipted the rune of fire, but it is still gray. Is it to late to illuminate it? Plus, I can't remember where to go to illuminate it. I illuminated the rune of light +::YAY

, so this is my last one I need to move on. Thanks again for the help.

@Guppy: If you are able to equip your rune as an accessory, you have illuminated it.

I'm in the cart and there is several short jumps and I just can't do it....been trying and trying and trying etc. and I just can't make the second small short jump...What do I do...this is crazy...

@Cindy: The last mine cart part is insanely hard as the cart moves fast and you have to absolutely perfect in your return presses. My only advice I can give you is to press enter immediately after you make the first short jump (aka when you see your cart actually land on track hit return immediately). For the last jump do the same thing. I really can't give any other advice than that. Good luck and let me know if you need any more help.

Everytime I go and hit the switch to break the barrier in the Quarry, when I get back to the barrier it is still there. What am I doing wrong? +::sos

@nicholas: The switch in the quarry is timed so you have to be quick in getting to the entrance of the mines before the timer ends. Try to get a path that avoids the most enemies (you can only fight about 2 enemies before your time runs out).

Well I finally made it to the end of all the small jumps but there is several jumps up how do I jump up all three or four small tracks?? I am holding the up button as I jump...Do I need to jump up to the top one??

Anyone know what to do to beat Jack in the frosty mines place.Ive beaten him once but he comes back alive and fights again.Do i need to be a certain level ? im level 5 both Leonardo and Leah +::sos

@Cindy: You will have to jump all three/four small tracks to make it to the exit. While making the jumps you want to wait until you are almost right at the next track and then press enter. After this, you want to press enter almost immediately after you hit the track or most likely you are going to miss the jump. If you have any other questions,let me know

@johnboy: You have to fight Jack twice. To help you survive the fight, make sure you have enough medicines and maybe level Leonardo and Leah to about level 6 or 7. Also buy any new equipment you can afford. You also want to complete the side quest in the Ice girl village in which you save one of the ice girl's pets from the worms in the caves (you'll get a reward and level up a level or two from the fights). If you need any more help, let me know

Thanks for that ive been back through the caves and levelled up to 7 and found those pets for the Ice girl so lets have another crack at Jack +::Thumbup
