I'm okay too! Keeping busy with work.

Would you mind telling me your computer specs? Maybe it has something to do with that... is it an older machine?

If it's a compatibility issue between the game and your machine as it seems to be, purchasing the full version won't help much, I'm afraid. And I wouldn't want you to pay for something you won't be able to enjoy.

Hey!

There is a side dungeon for you to discover in the game, not sure that is what you would classify as a side-quest.
As for lenght, it's always tricky for me to say anything about that, as each player takes a different time, I think it's safe to say it's over 10 hours for an average speed player.

If you decide to give it a chance, as I hope you do, enjoy yourself and please let me have your feedback once you're finished!

Del a good way you can typically figure out an average game length:
Take your play time as the developer, and add about 50% to it.
So if it takes you 8 hours to play- on average players will take around 12.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the tip! I'll use it from now on.

Condering that math, pretty safe to say it has no less than 10 hours for an average player.

I remember there was a game of mine, that I had finished in 3 to 4 hours, and players were taking about 15 hours... As a developer we play fast, knowing everything there is to do, everywhere we need to go and we tend not to explore as much, so hence the difference.

If you get to play the game, please let me know your thoughts on it!

I actually did 100% for my game and it was still too low from what I was told. Maybe I am just a fast player? +::biggrin

BTW game looks interesting, I may check it out once I finish Forever Heroes.

Thank you, I do have quite a lot of them in total, Laxius Force trilogy at about 200 hours in total (+ 3 Stars another 60h), Millennium series at overall 60-70 hours, and then the stand-alone The Book of Legends (50h), Asguaard (50h) and of course Forever Heroes. I just like making long games, although it's also true they need the most work and efforts.

I, too, tend to be fast, mostly because I'm excellent at defeating enemies lol
But in my games there are also other things to consider: in easier modes, the games take less time (logical), it's also possible to make the battles faster (sometimes to skip the animations entirely, like in Gemelle Games), and lately I've also made the default walking speed faster.

I cannot figure out how...

Spoiler: show
To get to the 2nd level of Evil's Lair. I am probably missing something obvious but I just keep wandering around level 1.

You mean from the exterior to the interior or to progress levels already on the inside?

Already inside. Can go left/right but how do I get 'straight ahead' if that makes sense.

Guide says 'Once you get to the second floor...' - which is what I can't figure out!
