Hello everyone, this is the creator of "Elements: Soul of Fire". I thought I would join the discussion myself and help out where I can. I will do my best to answer peoples' questions, but please understand that I may sometimes be busy (such as with my next game). I probably should have come forward sooner, but better late than never, as they say.
First and foremost, I want to extend a
hearty thanks to Acashpat. I am truly grateful for what you've been doing here, and I am very happy that there's someone like you playing my game.
It also made me very happy to see all of you cooperating like this. I'm glad there's already a little community forming for my game here! I am so honored! It's been my dream to create games ever since I was five or six years old. I hope you'll look forward to my future projects.
If you have questions that you might consider to be spoilers and are concerned about that, feel free to PM me (but
do consider posting here first, to add to the discussion and so others might get help for the same issues; plus, others may wish to answer questions, too). As well, I will answer questions about the story and characters, if you have any. I understand that this seems to be primarily a help thread, but I'd also like to know what everyone thinks of the characters, story, music, etc., if you have anything to say.
And once again, please understand that I am just one person, and I have lots of other plans to boot. But I'll do what I can!
And now, to CINDY: Vulcan is the Sky Behemoth (as Pluto is the Land Behemoth, and Neptune the Sea Behemoth). You will find him on the island of Veya after completing the initial quests on Hobo. After the festival, talk to the people in Hobo Village, and one woman will tell you about the island of Veya.
As for your question about the stars, do you mean the barrier atop Mt. Sirius? Or the point beyond where it says only a child of the stars may pass? If so, that refers to Erin's little brother Elias. You'll recruit him close to the end of the Hobo story arc.
EDIT: While I'm here now, I might as well note a few useful tidbits...
Carry eight Pepp Peps with you at all times. You can buy them on the streets of Alavon, in the Jail in Glymac, in the village of Fauston on Behgar, and a few other assorted locations. If you take Boaz back to Pepp City after recruiting him, you can buy Pepp Peps very cheap at the bar there. If you didn't defeat the Goth Lord early in the game, however, you'll have to pay a membership fee to get in.
Make good use of accessories that increase your strength/attack power, like Ryota's Battle Scarf (which you can give to anyone you want) and the Megalodon Tooth hidden in Nino Bay (you need the raft and dynamite to get it). Also don't neglect accessories that confer status ailment resistance or Elemental defense if you find that a boss is using those techniques on you.
As for recommended parties, all I can say is that Jessica's Empower/ing Force + Maximus' Charged attacks = utter devastation. You can pretty much demolish just about anything in the game using this combo. As for other useful characters to complement this team, Romeo is a nice fast attacker, Ryota is marvelous as he can keep enemies from hitting you with Smoke Bomb and his Calthrops technique chops off 1/10 of most grounded enemies' HP,
including bosses (I see Acashpat's done a great job selling him to people), and Ezra and Sybil are useful for their healing abilities (Sybil is better at healing, while Ezra has Light-Elemental attack magic, useful on the prolific Demon-types and the occasional horde of Undead). Of course, you're free to use whoever you want, but combinations of these characters will make things much easier for you.
Good luck, everyone. And thank you so much!

I hope you all continue to enjoy and discuss the game for a long time to come!
